Tempered glass is a toughened safety glass, heating the glass to the temperature that approximately softens the glass, i.e. it has below feature:
1.High security:If breakage occurs the glass breaks up into small, cubical fragments,which are not threatening to humans. So it was called safety glass.
2.High strength: the impact resistance of tempered glass 3 to 5 times higher comparing with the ordinary glass with the same thickness, while the bending strength 3-5 times higher.
3.Thermal stability: Tempered glass has good thermal stability, temperature it can withstand is 3 times higher than that the ordinary glass do, and it can withstand 210 °C-230°C temperature difference.
