Tempered glass lis a toughened safety glass,
heating the glass to the temperature that approximately softens the glass, i.e. the glass is in a viscous flow status, this temperature range is called tempering temperature range. Maintain this temperature range for certain time, then cool the glass rapidly, and the tempered glass formed.
Advantages of tempered glass
1.Safe: When the glass is external damaged, debris are tiny grains with obtuse angle, bringing down the risk of hurting people.
2.High strength: the impact resistance of tempered glass 3 to 5 times higher comparing with the ordinary glass with the same thickness, while the bending strength 3-5 times higher.
3.Thermal stability: Tempered glass has good thermal stability, temperature it can withstand is 3 times higher than that the ordinary glass do, and it can withstand 200 °C temperature difference.
